She shows up briefly during the first episode, “Number Twelve,” and again during the (non-canon) short “The Search.” Apart from that, she shows up in “Wrong Way Backwards,” but that’s a crossover with our sister show, “Doctor Whooves and Assistant.”
Unlike most other Doctor Whooves stories (Doctor Whooves and Assistant, Lovestruck Derpy, etc.) or the fanon interpretation of Doctor Whooves, Derpy is not a main character in our stories. This isn’t because we hate her- quite the opposite, we have some pretty big Derpy fans in the box. No, we don’t have her as a character because we feel that there are many other interpretations of Time Lord and Mail Mare, and we would like to present something new. Be it a superhero in the future, an archaeologist in the past, the adventures of a rock and a tree, an alien filly’s attempts to adjust to modern life, a simple pony gaming group, or a magical librarian galavanting through time and space with a two-hearted, thousand-year-old entity.

Metropolitan, dense, and populated with more tall buildings than trees, the future Manehattan sets the stage of conflict for our mysterious mare.

Technology has advanced. No longer do carriages need to be pulled by ponies, but FlimFlam technology has allowed simple, ponyless transportation. In the sky, maneuvering between tall buildings, luxury zeppelins drift high above the streets, taking the wealthy from skyscraper to skyscraper in style. Vast, interlocked tunnels and sewers, built to keep up with skyrocketing population, have become the home to every manner of creature.
All of which becomes the playground for one adept mare.

Hey, me again.
Just a heads up. I’ll be posting artwork and preview tidbits like backstory for the upcoming Mysterious Mare Do Well Adventures ep 1. We’re all scripted, our VAs are (with minor exception) assembled, so we’ll enter into production pronto!
